January 11, 2013: Working Together Toward Social Change

Please join the Andariega Collective in collaboration with the Office of Women’s Policy in creating a movement toward social change.

We are calling on mujeres and supporters to advocate for equity, representation, and voice for Latinas in Santa Clara County.  Become a part of the movement by:

1) Dropping by anytime during the 2 hour time frame to add your signature to a collective letter to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors to ensure the Latina voice is included in the System Improvement Plan (SIP).  The SIP is a critical document that outlines how the County will improve its system of care for our children, youth, and families.
 
2) Joining us for a meeting at 6pm to learn more about the SIP and collectively strategize for the upcoming community input meeting hosted by the County.
